Recreational tree climbing is a unique and engaging activity that compliments your personal fitness, mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation practice!

These climbs are open to adults, 18 yrs and older. Capacity is limited so you are able to enjoy tree-time as you feel inclined.

You will receive a tutorial on the climbing system to begin your ascent. Our easy-to-learn technique will have you ascending shortly after you are suited-up. Once you understand the climbing system, you will head up under your own determination and abilities. (more info on what to expect during your climb...)

The feeling of security you feel in your harness and rope provide you with control and security, thus allowing you to soon focus your mind on the experience and your objectives for the day.

Trees provide an essential energy source that we can connect with to help us find balance in our lives and improve our well-being.  Being in the presence of trees exposes you to this energy, thereby reducing feelings of depression, stress, and anxiety.

Aligning yourself with this energy, your body will experience a reduction in blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension and stress hormones.  In a more calm and balanced state, you will find deeper engagement in your mind and with Nature.

Enjoy the rejuvenating affect of spending time in the embracing branches and energy of a majestic oak tree, breathing in oxygen directly from the source. Forest bathing or Shinrin-Yoku embraces the healing affects of the forest ecosystem. Tree-Time enables you to connect with an individual tree for a focussed and heightened sense of connection.

We do not cover the intricacies involved in technical tree climbing during Adult Climbs. Participants are only shown how to ascend & descend under the care of a professionally trained and experienced tree climbing facilitator. If you want to learn how climb on your own, check out our Learn-to-Climb training classes.
