EQUIPMENT AND CLOTHING:
Treetop Explorer, LLC provides all of the equipment and gear necessary to enjoy recreational tree climbing. All equipment is inspected prior to each event, and double checked with each climber. Participants will want to wear closed-toe, sturdy-soled shoes. Long pants help protect legs from scrapes against the bark and chafing from the harness. Gloves and safety glasses are available for climbers, but participants can bring their own. RESTRICTIONS:
Recreational tree climbing is appropriate for people aged 7 years and older. Individuals unable to follow safety procedures or suspected to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to climb. Each participant must submit a signed waiver prior to climbing. |
FEES:
All fees and associated costs are presented to you prior to booking your event. We provide recommendations for your climb & pricing based on your group size. Our standard recommendations are based on the average amount of time most groups need to allow everyone the opportunity for at least a 2nd ascent; undertsanding that there may be variation between specific groups. Larger groups can be accommodated by limiting # of climbs per person or extending the climbing time frame. For Reference: Private Climb events tend to range between $400.00 to $725.00. Pricing is based on staffing and length of session chosen to acoomodate your group size. (e.g. a 1.5hr/$400.00* climb session usually works well for groups up to 7 people. A 2.0hr/$725.00* climb session usually works well for groups up to about 16-18 people (estimated prices for climbs in Waukesha County locations). We can accommodate larger groups. We do not cover the intricacies involved in technical tree climbing during Group/Private Climbs. Participants are only shown how to ascend & descend under the direction of a professionally trained and experienced tree climbing facilitator.
